What’s going on?

I hope all of you have had a wonderful week! Our dogs have been better so no new news there.

I wanted to take some time and ask all of you what you want to talk about when the 10 Commandments series is over. We will be ending with the commandments on March 29^th and need something to talk about, so rather than me just chose I thought I give you guys the chance to do that.

Info on Thrashed

Remember that the deadline for registration for Hume Lake is March 1st. A deposit of $100 is needed to reserve your student’s spot. The remainder of the funds are due on March 8th. The theme of this year’s retreat is Thrashed.

LIFE... the never ending process...

Hey guys,

I wanted to give you a heads up of what has been going on with my wife and I as we are now living in Clayton!!

The move went well with a lot of people from the Church helping us get everything from San Leandro to Clayton. Thanks to all of you that helped!!

It was after all the moving that the fun started...

First was the night of the move my wife was going to pick me up and she gets a flat in the middle of nowhere!! When I finally found a ride to her it was late and we got home about midnight... I was suppose to be home at 9pm.

Second was our dogs. We leave them home one day while we went to work, and when we got home a surprise was waiting... they had ripped up the carpet in the main bedroom all the way down to the wood floor!! Needless to say we were not happy!

Lastly, after the carpet incident, we decided to keep the dogs in the kitchen the next day and little did we know what they had up their sleeves. When we got home we were immediately greeted by the smell of poopies! When we went to the kitchen.... well you will have to ask me for details, but it wasn't pretty...

We can finally laugh about all that has happened... I hope your week has been fun as well.

What does it mean to be a Chrsitian?

Hey ClubC3 diehards!

I was glad to see you guys Sunday for the first time. I hope you all had fun and are also coming to HUME LAKE!! Its going to be a blast.

This last Sunday we talked about Nicodemus and in the story we saw that He was a teacher of the law, (kinda like a pastor) but he didn’t know what it meant to be a follower of Christ (Christian). What I wanted to ask you guys is,

“What does it mean to be a Christian for you?”

Take some time to think about it and I cant wait to see your responses.

Hey... What's going on?

Well, I wanted to keep everyone in the loop as to what is going on at Club C3.

First- I have updated the side calendar to show only special events, I hope if your viewing this blog that you already know that we meet once on Sunday @ 10:45 and on Thursday @ 7pm.

Second- I am planing a fun event for February! Keep giving me ideas and I will make sure that I am listening to all of you guys. You know you really run this thing...

Third- I have made some modifications to the Club C3 logo and I will be posting that shortly, so tell me what you think.


Fourth- We have Hume Lake coming up and we need to bring as many people as possible, the more the merrier right? You can see details on the calendar or come Thursday night to get your forms that you need filled out.

Fifth- (Man this is getting long) We are having a special lunch so that my wife and I can get to know your parents. Its going to be on Sunday February 18th @ noon @ the church office, so COME! There will be free food too!

There is more happening but I am tired of typing and I bet you are tired of reading.
