How do the hard times fit in?

We always hear that when you are a Christian that life should be this easy and wonderful experience, and that tough times just won't happen.

In my life and in the lives of those around me this has never been the case. So what should we do then when tough times come? Does it mean that we have done something wrong and are getting punished? Does it mean we don't have a close enough relationship with God?

I think that just the opposite is true. The book of James has this to say:

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

I don’t know what you’re currently facing in your life, but take it from someone that has been through some rough trial, that God is good and looking to make you the best you can be so that you will not be incomplete!

Keep fighting the squirrels

Love-A-Child Reminder

Hey Club C3,

Don't miss out on a great opportunity to reach out to the community and have fun! This Saturday from 10-4 meet at the CCC office (6055 Main Street in Clayton). We will be working with Love A Child Mission in Bay Point doing work projects and hanging out with the kids.

Love A Child Mission is a ministry designed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing shelter and rehabilitative services for homeless women and children.

Please bring the following:

-signed permission slip (Click Link Below)
Release Document

-work clothes and shoes

-sack lunch and water bottle

-wear or bring sunscreen

Just a reminder...

To all my fellow ClubC3ers....

I wanted to remind you that this Thursday the 7th and next Thursday the 14th are weeks off.

That means we will NOT be meeting, so don't show up to DVMS because no one will be there.

I will miss you all however... but we will be meeting the 21st at the Babayan's house for our Grad Night! You all need to come and have some fun! There will be food, games, a pool, and of course me! What else could you ask for??

The Babayan's place is also where we will be meeting all summer long. If you have questions on where they live or need directions you can just scroll down to the calendar in the right hand column and click on ClubC3 Party, from there you will open up a calendar where all the information to the event is and where you can find a map.
